Elephone launched their newest EleCam 360 action cam roughly two months ago and the sale numbers are looking quite good so far. And can be even better now when Elephone announced a new optional accessory for it – waterproof casing.
But before we take a look at the waterproof casing itself let’s quickly go through the specs of the EleCam 360. The name already hints at the 360° shooting coverage and you can also use the “fisheye” effect with 220° wide angle. Camera has 0,96-inch display with 128 x 64 pixel resolution and the SPCA6350M processor.
Gizchina News of the week
The main shooting sensor is the OV4689 capable of capturing photos in JPG format with 3008 x 1504 pixel resolution and the video output supports the H.264 codec and FullHD resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels with 30fps. Thanks to the 1500 mAh capacity it should be able to last for about one hour of FHD video capture.
But let’s get back to the waterproof casing. Allegedly it should allow shooting underwater up to 30m depth without the video resolution being altered or distorted. You can check the casing design and looks at the pictures scattered around the article and if you are asking about the price, then the rumors are strongly hinting at something around 15 dollars. Not bad at all.
So the case should be bought separately?? Or the price of $15 would be added with the camera price?
I think I’m unlucky! :/ I have ordered the EleCam360 3days ago. Can anyone send me the buying link of the case?
