If you don’t want any IFA spoilers then don’t go any further than this, as it looks like Huawei may launch the Huawei Mate 9 with P9 camera features.
Dual camera’s is THE feature to have when it comes to Chinese smartphones this year, and Huawei are launching another with dual rear sensors, and they will be found on another flagship device.
Spy photos and a couple of renders show what Huawei are planning to launch at IFA next month and no surprise it appears that the new phone is going to be an update to the Mate range with the latest and greatest Kirin chipset on board.
Gizchina News of the week
The images we have here clearly show an all metal phone with dual camera positions on the rear and fingerprint scanner. It also looks like Huawei toyed with a few different design ideas for the Mate 9 with some getting laser autofocus, and single LED flash and others with dual LED flash.
The metal bodied phone is expected to come with a Kirin 960 chipset running on Cortex A73 and A53 cores and compatibility with LTE CAT 12. Super fast charging is also a rumoured feature of the phone along with 3000mAh battery.
We expect Huawei to hold simultaneous launches for the Huawei Mate 9 with a European launch taking place in Berlin at IFA and a Chinese launch around the same time. This won’t be a 1999 Yuan flagship phone though, and we expect pricing to hit almost 3k once available.
The battery will definitely be more than 4000mah, not 3000.
*most likely* would be a better term to use you cant speculate and say definitely as consumers we can only guess
I am gonna say these are fake. So far Huawei has stuck with the same setup for their dual cameras with the P9, Honor 8 and Honor V8. I would be surprised if the dual camera setup looks different than these 3. Also the Mate 7 and Mate 8 both had 4000mAh for a battery size.
