Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Full Specifications: Other
It’ll be interesting to see if the Redmi Note 4 makes it to India, where Xiaomi don’t really deal in MediaTek powered phones. The Redmi Note 3 ships with the Snapdragon 650/652 SoC in India, which has a definite advantage over the MediaTek powered variant in China.
There still appears to be no B20 support for the Redmi Note 4.
No B20, no party 🙂
I know, right?
just ask Lei Jun if he has something against US/EU :p
Let me predict that next Redmi note phone will be named Redmi Note 4 Pro and will come with snapdragon soc
Normally the MTK chipset is for domestic market (China). Global version of the model has an SD soc most of the time.
Why do I keep seeing this in Gizchina articles ‘The Redmi Note 3 ships with the Snapdragon 650/652’
What Redmi Note 3 comes with the 652!?
Version for India. This one.
‘The Redmi Note 3 ships with the Snapdragon 650/652 SoC in India…’
Wow really? I’ve never seen a 652 version anywhere on the web, I’ve only ever seen a SD650 version…
Shame the resellers don’t get hold of that too!
There is no SD652 version , not even in India http://www.mi.com/in/note3/specs/
That’s what I bloody thought!!!!
That’s why I’m fed up of seeing this ‘The Redmi Note 3 ships with the Snapdragon 650/652’ crap here all the time!
How can’t Yash Garg even know this???
As far as I can remember Hugo Barra had said during the launch that there’s a 652 version as well. I could be wrong, will have a check.
No, I’m very sure a Snapdragon 652 variant of the Redmi Note 3 was announced in India.
But what about the Redmi 4 ( non-note version ) ? Won’t that be out soon ?
where is the gorilla glass 3 or above
I’ll wait for redmi note 4 pro prime mini max ultra s
The back cam is Samsung S5K3L8 (1.12um 1/3.06) and the front cam is Samsung S5K5E8
so thats the same as the redmi 3 pro?
No , the Note 3 Pro uses 16MP Samsung S5K3P3 (1.10µm)
I think it’s the same s the Redmi 3
That’s disappointing. Was hoping they would improve the cam over the note 3 pro
The only 3rd party samples i’ve seen so far http://news.mydrivers.com/1/496/496753_5.htm
I don’t give a fuck about MTK.
Xiaomi should give us Qualcomm chipset.
That’s the only substantial upgrade vs Note 3 Pro and ,if that’s what you want, the 3 Pro is available.
Currenetly using Redmi Note 3 Pro. 3/32GB version.
They’ll probably release a sd variant in a month or two
“Full Specifications” my ass. At least include dimensions and weight.
Ugly as previous ugly redmi notes!
No it’s not.
Remember Xiaomi can’t launch MediaTek phones in India so I’d say wait for the Snapdragon 652 version that will definitely show up in a couple of weeks..

Why launch 10 diferents devices every year? Why? And the support for the 200 diferents devices?
For me the perfect is:
HIGH PERFORMANCE
– Mi5 and Mi Note
MIDDLE PEFORMANCE
– Mi4s and Redmi Pro
LOW PERFORMANCE
– Redmi and Redmi Note
6 products that meet all people (small and big display).
High performance is more likely Mi5 and Mi Note 2, while mid performance is Redmi Note/Pro.
Low performance is Redmi.

The Redmi note 3 special edition for Taiwan has SD650 & B20&28

Do you know a trusted reseller who sell that version? I am based in Europe and I do not trust Aliexpress.
aliexpress is not bad.

Seeing that the redmi note 3 MTK version didn’t get miui 8, i’m going to avoid any MTK variant from xiaomi.
