When Lenovo announced the ZUK Z1 in India, it did so under the ‘Lenovo’ branding. This time around, the brand seems ready to launch a phone a bit more powerful.
It has just been learnt that the ‘Lenovo Z2 Plus’ will launch in India sometime next month. If asked to take a guess, I’d reckon it’s what they’re calling a ZUK Z2 Pro for the Indian market. There’s no way to ascertain that at the moment, so we’ll only have to wait and see.

In case it does turn out to be a reincarnation of the Z2 Pro, the Lenovo Z2 Plus will have a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM/64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM variants, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 8 mega-pixel front facing camera and a 3100mAh battery.
No word on pricing yet, stay tuned to GizChina for more news about the Lenovo Z2 Plus.
You’re talking about a company that launched a P10 based phone, which is basically a low lower-end phone for qHD resolutions using 1-2 apps at a time, at INR 14,000, when the price should have been no more than INR 5,990 for a spec sheet like that.
Go through the Flipkart comments – piss poor memory management, stuttery UI, awful touch sensitivity, with a processor that just about boots the phone up.
All this in a market where Xiaomi has wiped the floor with SD 650 based phones with great build quality, good displays, a better shipped Rom and an overall far superior product. This is Lenovo’s audacity.
And you expect these festering as.sholes to price a 6GB / 820 configuration under 30k? Like Vince McMahon’s theme song says, “No chance, that’s what you got”.
I have the Z2 Pro and it destroys all other phones in its price range.
I am talking about a company that launched Vibe x3 with Snapdragon 808 for Under 20ks. (Less than Oneplus 2) (How you doin?)
ZUK Z1 with SD801 for under 14k (Less than Oneplus 1 and Oneplus x at that time) (How you doin?)
Vibe k4 Note with dual speakers for under 12k. (How You doin?)
VIBE K5 with SD415 and 2gb ram for 7k almost 6 months ago. (Similar to Redmi 3). (How you doin?)
Whatever phone you are talking about. I think you should understand about the pricing strategy of companies. The Online exclusive models are priced lower while the models that are sold ofline in local markets are priced higher. (How you doin?)
Above mentioned phones were all well priced and were online exclusive, just like the Zuk is going to be. So Yes i expect it to be priced well like xiaomi, oneplus and Le eco phones rather than higher like Asus zenfone series (Asus sells it in ofline markets too).
Btw How you doin?
BTW im currently using RN3 for around 2 months and i feel its pathetic. RAM management is awful cant even keep 3 apps open. Cant even keep 3-4 tabs open of i open a destop website like xotic pc or tech review websites. Sites keep reloding all the time. Everything else is good but ram management is pathetic. Im looking to replace this now.
