Lenovo Vibe P2 (Snapdragon 625, 4GB) glimpsed at TENAA

The Lenovo Vibe P2 was just glimpsed while it was busy trying to get network certification to ply in China.

The leak (thanks to who else but TENAA) gives us a peek into the spec sheet of the phone, and also gives a (very clear) picture of how the device will look.

A Snapdragon 625 SoC will run the show on the Vibe P2 in company of 4GB of RAM. The phone appears to have a couple different storage variants… let’s have a look below.

Gizchina News of the week

Lenovo Vibe P2 specifications

  • 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p display
  • Snapdragon 625 SoC
  • 4GB RAM
  • 32GB or 64GB ROM
  • 13 mega-pixel rear camera
  • 5 mega-pixel front facing camera
  • 5000mAh battery
  • Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

And here are some photos:

You can tell from the photos that there is no fingerprint sensor on the rear, which has become a bit of a trend with 5.5-inch phones of late. Instead, the Vibe P2 appears to have one on the home button.

Not sure how good an idea that is, since the phone will be quite bulky (179g) with a 5000mAh battery. Anyway, let’s wait and watch how the Lenovo Vibe P2 pans out.

Yeah, now just switch 5 and 2 into that 625 soc :-/
Just like the previous p model, the choice of the soc is a bit of a let down for me… That, and the high price!
