Not so long ago I reported that a new Chinese phone maker were planning to launch a device for $130 with all metal design. I have now been sent the first render of the phone with details of its impending release.
Smart phone makers come and go, but one new brand is hoping to enter and leave a huge impact on the market. We’re still unsure of what the brand is called and who is behind it, but we can at least show you the first renders of the device (which is expected to launch mid-September).
As with the previous news, the new render doesn’t really give to much away. We can see the phone branding has been blurred to add to the mystery, but the image does at least confirm the phone will come in a gold rear, white front option.

The image also shows us a CNC machined metal chassis, dual LED flash, and a home fingerprint button below the 5.5-inch display (yup, at least that detail has been confirmed with us).
Speaking to people in the know, this new phone will feature a slightly higher level of hardware with a lean towards quality materials and build rather than super fast processors. With that said though, memory options will be generous.
We’ve been promised more details over the coming days in the run up to the final launch so watch this space.
