Over the past few days we have been getting details about an upcoming smartphone brand and its new phone. Today we learn the name of that phone.
Although we still don’t know the name of the brand behind the mystery handset, today we can reveal the model name for the phone and the start of the pre-sales. Our sources have confirmed that the device will be called the Rio (the name will be accompanied with a model number) and that the smartphone will be available for pre-sale on the 10th September to international customers.
Gizchina News of the week
- To recap all we know about the Rio so far the specs are as follows:
- 5.5-inch display
- AMOLED panel
- Home button with Fingerprint scanner
- 3000mAh battery
- CNC alloy chassis
- Price: $129.99
If the latest render of the phone is accurate too, then we can also look forward to a range of colours too.
I gave up on presell products after buying UMI Super and the touchscreen got ruined of their own Update, up to now they haven’t produced any fix yet so i’m sitting with a brick of ghost touches. Will wait for months of review to buy this one.
I’ve purchased at least 5 presale products. The only one I regretted was the Umi Hammer. Umi = shit. They are yet to prove that equation wrong.
I’ve had the Umi Iron for quite some time now and i’m very happy with it! Rootjoy was also a very cool project to accompany it. I also like that it comes with an almost vanilla version of android. But just as Ronnie I don’t go for presales because first batch problems are a common thing with a lot of Chinese phone productions, i also prefer a proper review of the product before i buy it.
lol … tell me if someone u know has tried umi max
What about the max? TCL’s influence guaranteed the device was useful. If 1 out of every 5 to 7 device is good does that make a company worth petronizing?
also had ghost touches. but was because I used it in the rain. drying it fixed it
Lol months by then more options will be available, weeks sound a bit better
It’s not the presell products… UMi is a shitty company, every phone she makes has problems. Elephone does the same thing.
