360 (previously known as Qiku) is a relatively new smartphone maker with a concern for security. It is indeed backed up by a Chinese internet security company called Qihoo 360 known for its antivirus software (360 Safeguard, 360 Mobile Safe). Around six month ago they released the hard-to-find 360 F4. Today, a new handset from 360 got spotted on TENAA, it’s the 360 F4S… so let’s take a look at the 360 F4S specifications.
360 F4S Specifications
- 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p display
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB ROM
- MediaTek MT6753 octa-core 64-bit processor
- 13 mega-pixel rear camera
- 5 mega-pixel front facing camera
- 3920mAh battery
- Fingerprint scanner
The 360 F4S, codenamed MIIT 1603-A03, will sport metal body with a 5.5″ Full HD display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). It will be powered by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3Ghz.
Gizchina News of the week
On the back we have a fingerprint reader and a 13MP camera, while on the front we find a 5MP shooter with LED flash. The 360 F4S will be fueled by a 3920mAh battery, which is what we have come to expect these days on a 5.5″ screen device, and it’ll run 360’s custom UI on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
From what we hear, the 360 F4S might only come in a gold and white color combination, as you can see from the images. This is everything we know as of now, but we expect the 360 F4S to launch very soon, so stay around!
too bad i can’t buy it on aliexpress or anywhere else for a good price
DAMN YOU 360 MOBILES :@
but Liaow (strange name) truly are …
check out their prices and then honestly tell me your blood pressure is stable after doing so :p
they are but its the only place i know that sell rare phones
ikr … too bad 360 are dumb af to realize their phone WILL sell like hot cakes in EU/NA regions as well as several parts of Asia and Africa !
I don’t think you realize that you can’t just bring phones to a totally another region (say from Asia to Europe) and not have to pay extra for that. All sorts of certifications, logistics and marketing all add up. If 100 gizchina.com who are based in Europe buy it, it won’t be a success for a company. A normal person won’t be buying a phone he’s never heard of and even less so if it has a weird name (360/Qiku? LeEco? Yeah.. not going to happen unless they start spending a lot on marketing and marketing will have to be paid for by someone aka the customer). It isn’t all that easy. You wouldn’t be buying it anyway by the looks of it, I’ve seen you comment on here hundreds of times and all the time it’s “Expensive AF”.
yeah ok alright mr.anonymoustoolazytomakeanaccountorshowtheiractualname
all i’m saying is 360 should look into it. they have the money (360 securities isn’t a small company by any means and im sure if they want to , they CAN invest enough quid to go to EU/NA atleast. so no argument on the ‘money’ part. they can fund their phone making division without issue)
NAmes eh … i don’t understand humans sometimes. WHATS a name gotta do … hell when you’re getting ALOT of BADASS hardware .. who cares about the name ?! people are stupid to care about the name when they’re getting hardware of flagship quality at a KILLER price.
hell , if i had the cash , i’d totally buy the rose gold le max 2 ! and i would be PERFECTLY happy with it. i don’t give a damn what the people around me say … like “pink is girl color” , “pink phone makes you girlish” .. pink this , pink that. i’ll shut em’ down with a simple reply ; puhleease ! go and find a Samsung / Apple with matachable hardware at THE SAME PRICE and then we’ll talk ! so much for your ‘manliness’.
and man , come on… how much do you know me , or i you ? not much , eh ? yeah … i’ve been here for sometime and saying the same thing pretty much. so maybe its fair you can use that for jesting/bantering … but in reality neither you know my side of the story and neither do i know your side . so u can’t say for sure what i’ll buy and what i won’t
you can buy 360 phones from aliexpress >_>
It didn’t even worth writing an article about it.
There are already 200 phones out there with the same specs.
What price? The article didn’t mention the price.
You can find hundreds of phone like this one from $100 to $150.
I bet this 360 will also fall in that price range
I did a research in fact. Rumored price is $120.
I found just one model that matches the specs, but it’s priced ~$20 higher.
Doogee T6 Pro = $136
Oukitel K6 Pro = $149
A little more expensive but with 6000mha battery
But then we have…
Leagoo Elite 1 = $135
Blubloo Xtouch = $139
And if you are ok with 16GB ROM we have a dozen of phones for about $100.
(Zopo, Ulefone,Vernee)
Not to mention better phones for about the same price…
LeTV x600 = $130
Even if the “rumors” are confirmed, we are still talking of a last year specced phone that doesn’t bring anything new from the crowd that has been there for a while already. And $10 or $20 less doesn’t really make such difference (IMHO)
Doogee T6 Pro
1. No fingerprint (would be a dealbreaker for me).
2. Cheaper build materials.
3. I suspect worse build quality and software support.
4. More expensive..
Oukitel K6 Pro
That’s the closest I found, but it’s more expensive. What if my budget is just $100, but I could stretch it just by +$20?
Leagoo Elite 1
1. Screen is 5″. I’m looking only at 5.5″.
2. Battery almost twice smaller!
3. More expensive too, while I suspect worse built quality and software support.
4. Fingerprint not in the back.
5. Non-metal back.
Blubloo Xtouch
Battery still much smaller and the rest just repeats the above.
LeTV x600
1. Storage not expandable.
2. Smaller battery.
Maybe you are right and for somebody those would be on the same list, but for me, those are still quite significant differences in specs and price.
If the rumored price is right, it would be first on my list to buy for everything it offers in comparison to what’s already on the market (for the same price).
You were cherry picking in your example, and I get that this phone might work the best for you, but in general is just a “déjà vu” of the many MT6753 phones out there that cost $120 (+/- $20).
Some don’t care of fingerprint scanner and wants a bigger battery, somebody might want to save a couple of bucks and get the 16GB version and then he gets many other choices but the category is still the same.
Don’t get wrong, this happens with flagships too, they are pretty much the same, cost almost the same but they differ for one or two details.
