Pretty much everybody owns a smartphone with an USB OTG (On-The-Go) port, but not that many of us actually use it to its full extent. So the people over at Ulefone had the nice idea of showing us what we can do with OTG and other kinds of connectivity (bluetooth) on the freshly released Ulefone Metal.
Here’s the video:
As shown in the video, they first connect the Ulefone Metal to an USB gamepad to play games on the smartphone (my favorite), after that, they connect to a keyboard and an USB flash drive from which they copy/paste a picture to then post it on a Chinese social media.

I would have also added a clip of them using an SD card (or Micro SD) to USB adapter and connect it to your smartphone, so that you can check out the photos you’ve just taken with the camera on a bigger screen, maybe that’ll be in a future video, who knows!
The video also shows us how to take a selfie with a bluetooth selfie stick, hopefully you all were aware of that already.
The Ulefone Metal comes with a 5-inch screen, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, MTK6753 CPU and a Sony IMX149 camera. There’s also a fingerprint scanner on the back and it’s fueled by a 3050mAh battery, not bad for a 5-inch phone.
The Ulefone Metal has been selling well due to the low price, it can indeed be found here for $109.99, with a flip case and a tempered glass screen protector.
