Oukitel U15 Pro announced with familiar design, MT6753

After the launch of the two new devices, i.e., the U13 and K7000, Oukitel surprises us with a third handset in a very short period, this one is named the Oukitel U15 Pro.

The Oukitel U15 Pro is aesthetically similar to the smaller cousin K7000 (and a few other phones, to be honest) we showed you a few days back, but it’s bigger and more powerful. It indeed sports a 5.5-inch SHARP HD display with curved edges and coated in 2.5D arc glass, encased in an aircraft grade aluminum alloy.

Oukitel u15 ProThe hardware on the Oukitel U15 Pro consists of a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core CPU clocked at 1.3GHz paired with a Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable to 128GB)… so while it’s not a 2017 flagship killer, it definitely finds place in today’s mid-range.

On the back we find a fast fingerprint sensor with a response time of 0.1s, above it there’s a 16MP camera accompanied by an LED flash, while on the front the Oukitel U15 Pro features a 5MP shooter.Oukitel u15 Pro

The handset packs a 3000mAh SCUD safe built-in Li-polymer battery and the usual gravity sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor and notification LED. The Oukitel U15 Pro supports dual SIM dual standby (micro), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/AGPS/GLONASS. There’s no NFC but there’s an FM radio receiver.

Supported networks include:

GSM: 850/900/1800/1900Mhz;
WCDMA: 900/2100Mhz;
FDD: Band 1/3/7/8/20;

    So damn boring… Why won’t you throw out the k6000 premium already?! Oh, is it because it was silently cancelled? I see…

        I think we can speak here, it’s not about something illegal, isn’t it? ?

          Sure. It’s about a writing opportunity for a new website.

            I’ve seen your messages for other people, and your idea is… Well… Let’s say, dozens of famous sites started the same exact way, thousands have failed starting the same exact way… It’s not a bad idea, but it needs a lot of work, and honestly I don’t think I have what it takes!

              Well the site is up and running. I have a few writers and just need someone that’s well versed in Chinese tech. I think you do have what it takes. It’s up to you though but if you would like, we could do a trail with one article.

    What’s wrong with oukitel? They are using outdated SoCs for all their new releases. At this point they can just skip P10 because they are already late to the party and try to use x20 or bring something with P20 early or face the fate of many before them and close their business…
