Elephone S7 and R9 will feature some flashing black cover

Based on the leaked pictures of the upcoming Elephone models it seems like the S7 and R9 are getting a flashy flashing black cover, which should add some fancy looks. We shall see how fleshed out those will be 😛

After all rumours about Elephone S7 getting the flashing cover are floating around for quite some time already, but all of them so far mentioned only the green and blue variants. Adding black to the mix is not a bad idea at all.

The back cover is made with the IMF technology so it has a unique design look and with different angles of light the reflections can be of all the rainbow colors. Elephone is trying to compare that roughly to an aurora effect.

But for the Elephone R9 news about such desing are a novelty, but the pictures look really good so it can boost up the model desirability. Both models were supposed to be out by the end of Septermber but looking at the calendar it’s pretty unlikely so we have to wait for the release dates and pricing. Looks just like a Black n White photo to me.
S7 available in Sapphire , Emerald and Gold – have not heard of any Black rumors other than this , but if true I will still order the Sapphire.

I was hoping for a more normal color, as we are used to in Italy … I would have been content to see black, white or grey color… I think at this point becomes even more elegant. Thanks for your consideration!! 🙂

I would rather they added a lighter color, maybe like silver. At this point, if I’ll take it, it will be blue.

    All of these accounts have 100-140 comments, are registred on 26-27 of August, contain comments of which 95% are under Elephone news, and all of these comments are favourable.
    Under this post, particularly, all of these fake comments are talking about COLOUR of the phone. For all that, all of them follow the same grammar and spelling mistakes.
    If you still can’t see the obvious, take a look at their account’s post history. Probably that person was creating accounts so quickly, that some of them he forgot to set to private.

Ahh look, the same way we saw iPhone 7 as Get black, that has become Flashing black here.
By the way, I don’t know exactly but both of S7 and R9 made of different mayerials. Where one has metal, other has glass back. So isn’t it difficult to gibe the metal body as a flashing black texture?? Just curiously asking.

It looked like R9 has regular metal back cover to me, although it would look cool if both of the new models came with some special looking back covering

Have to admit that all of these fancy words make me wanna know more about s7 and r9, looks like they really upped their game with these two models and trying to raise sales to these phones and I truly believe that will happen! 🙂

Yeah September is gone, may be the release got postpone for this flashing black color. But literally this is looking really nice on R9, but for S7 I still love that blue color , that looks pretty premium in S7!!
Hopefully the release date and pricing details will be revealed soon.
