While it’s true that the original Mi Pad has been around for a while, there’s no denying it’s still quite a handful. It’s powered by the NVIDIA Tegra K1 and runs Xiaomi’s MIUI OS, making it a very easy to use device yet one that’s fairly powerful.

Probably has a very old battery that barely holds the charge

the UI is extremely laggy, regardless of whatever MIUI version I run on it. there seems to be some major memory management issues on this tablet, as running more than one app tends to make it really bog down hard

Guess they get a piece of the pie if anyone uses their link to buy this ancient tablet.

I got one for my mum years ages ago. The hardware’s decent but xiaomi basically dont care about their tablets so the firmware is pretty sub par and its pretty laggy because MIUI on it is a bloated not properly optimized piece of shit. They refuse to update it properly too so its stuck on Kitkat 4.4. Still probably better than most budget china tabs though.

If they supported it I might be interested.
