OnePlus have pulled the plug on their X-series phones. This is because the brand wanted to concentrate on higher-end devices; we’ve spotted a OnePlus phone in China, and which makes us wonder how high-end that’s going to be.
Adding to the drama are the rumours around the OnePlus 3. It was said that the company stopped production of the phone, but OnePlus recently denied that. While that’s absolutely true, one thing we do know is that there’s a shortage of AMOLED panels this year.
Gizchina News of the week
This unknown OnePlus phone could in fact be an IPS LCD screen phone with the other internals of the OnePlus 3. Carl Pei’s ‘AMOLED>LCD’ tweet does suggest that might not be the case… but then what could the OnePlus A3010 be then? The OnePlus 3 Plus? Or something else? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
In related news, OnePlus recently set up another online store of their own.
oneplus 3s
OnePlus 3s / OnePlus 3 Plus
Optic AMOLED (improved)
SD821
Rest maybe same, battery also (which is bad, because SD821 will eat battery faster)
My two cents.
