In the hand, the feeling of the phone remains similar to the original with a curved edge and curved 2.5D 5.2-inch glass panel. The small size makes for a pocketable device that can easily be used with a single hand.

What an amazing device considering the specs it offers for the price asked. I hope this device will be on sale pretty soon so I could buy one instantly. I am hesitating between the Nubia Z11 Mini S and the Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition. I just hope the price of the Nubia Z11 Mini S won’t exceed $260 after resellers.
I hope the reseller mark up isn’t too high as well. $260 puts it in close competition with the Mi5, and le3 pro.
Hi, yeah you are definitely right regarding the $260. Unfortunately, resellers don’t care about the price of others devices. Their only interest is the money and if they can charge a higher premium they will do it without any hesitation.
Just saw that the redmi pro price has been dropped to $165. Once that price drop reaches the resellers, it will probably be my next phone.
Wish the battery was bigger.
Using RN3. Dont want to go back to smaller battery.
It’s 6mm shorter, 0.16mm narrower, and 0.6mm thicker than the Z11, so a device truly deserving of the name “Mini”.
Exactly. Z11 Mini was a 5 incher, why is this one bigger, if it’s still supposed to be a ‘Mini’? Battery still rather ridiculously efficient and not bigger in the size, so: why?
Also, why are they so stubborn to avoid OiS in their cameras?
One good thing is a newer SoC – Snap625 looks like a really good midrange CPU.
Another one to put on the Black Friday watchlist. BTW which devices are more likely to get the biggest discounts on that day – the brand new ones or the ones that are being replaced by the latest models?
