The specs of this phone are cool and I hope it really gets the Android Nougat, as UMi promised for a Christmas gift.

Oh well I gues I will be the first to comment.. The main reasons for buying the Umi are the fact it has a large battery with fast charge, usb type c and it isn’t made by elephone!

I like the front finger print scanner, the big screen the 4GB of ram and the fact of UMI update the phone for Android 7.0, this is verry good for me, and is the main reasons for buying the Umi.

Main reason for buying this: to try out how they’re working. And, by that, I mean “for curiosity sake”, but most of all to have a solid evidence about why you shouldn’t buy from umi anymore. I used to like them before their “elephonization”. Now they’re just a mediocre brand (not the worst, just mediocre) with a stupid marketing department. For example, I’ve had enough of their claims about how their camera is better than iphone’s: it’s just a regular camera screwed up by mediocre lenses and bad sw, so stop bragging around when you’re not working on it just using stock mediatek codes. It’s not the worst camera, but the marketing want you to think it’s top tier one, so you should buy it to see for yourself and realize that what they announce is not what they deliver. Again, it’s not the worse, but it’s not worth that much money they’ve been asking lately: at that price there are far better options.
Buy a product once if you have to, so you’ll know it wasn’t worth your money, and never buy again until they’ll start to work properly again without all of this marketing BS they’ve started to push around recently, so they’ll know that they’re not apple: umi can fool people just once at most.
I like the specs and design. Also Umi promised Nougat update. Definitely great phone to buy.

I’ve owned Umi Iron in the past and i was really satisfied with the phone in the overall. Now after some new phones that they launched they may have improved a lot as a company, so I’m willing to try the Plus, plus, they add large batteries on their phones which is an important feature for me. Nougat is on company’s plans and all of that makes it for a great deal. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

I WANT, I NEED, I LOVE IT
Just found it yesterday. First what I’ve mentioned is a battery, not so big to make phone bulky and not so small so you can use it more than one day. Second is realy nice FHD 5.5″ screen, I love Sharp screens, colors are amazing and third – Android 7 from the box.

Because I have never lucky…… I tell you why I won’t buy this phone:
– old helio p10 (for that money)
– no oled
– low antutu score
– no slow motion
– no nano sim
– just gray and gold color
– bad reviews other models (software/hardware)

I used to have UMI product so I have confidence in company. So phone with bigger battery, good display and lots of RAM like UMI Plus would be nice to win. And finally i expect decent camera coz I’am fun of shooting pictures anytime and everywhere.

4000Mah battery for me is the highest feature of this phone. From the part of the world i come from with unsteady power supply, i simply do not need to worry about flat battery, because UMI Plus has got me covered with its plus size battery
first of all hats off to the umi engineers for creating a smartphone that not only competes with likes of iphone 7 and samsung s7 edge but also outperforms them in some sections. umi team must be really proud of themselves.if i have to select 3 best best features of umi plus,first one will be incredible speed and software optimization ,second would be its fast fingerprint scanner and one would be its long lasting battery.it is an overall good package.thanks to umi for making umi plus affordable..come on folks,what do you want more in 180 usd?

In this phone is the best characteristic…that I really do not need it.
If you want a phone and don’t really care about software support or if the company has a history of falsely advertising the product, or if you want a phone that goes for $220 with a P10 processor, or maybe if you don’t care that the company aggressively markets their products so hard that you internally cringe at every new UMi ad.
Then this phone could be in your radar. Forget about the other phones below $200 that can be reasonably good, this one has 4GB RAM! Forget about that other phone that has 4GB but costs below $200, this one is free! FREE!

I bought a UMI MAX for my wife. When it turned out that it’s display is much better than that of my Asus Zenfone 2, I got really angry. Now I envy her for her phone. I really need a new mobile that’s even better than her. This should be a UMI PLUS.
When I started with the UMI Zero a while ago I didn’t knew quite what to think of the brand. Now they clearly made a name for themselves and I would love to have one again!
5.5″ is perfect for me and have never had a 4GB RAM phone before, eager to try that. The camera with PDAF should be at least the norm, it’s really good.
Best parts of the UMI to my opinion is the Touch ID. Although I do not know the 2.1 specifications, I highly anticipate the extra security feature. Also the Fast Charging is something I really need. My phone doesn’t have both (touch ID & PE+) and I really miss it in daily life. PIN-code is secure but quite a hassle every time. And charging takes forever.

Well, my Galaxy S3 died :(. And actually that didn’t hurt as much as losing all my photo’s with it…So this Umi could ease the pain a little. And can be used as a new toy to make great new photo’s of my children.
