Rumour has it that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will feature a 5.7-inch flexible display! Is that what these photos are showing?
In recent days we have seen more from Xioami than we have over the entire year. They had new phones launch, new accessories launch and they still have 2 more phones rumoured to be launching soon. Those phones are the Xiaomi Mi5C and the Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
These photos are apparently the first real spy shots of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and like the original phablet sized flagship, this phone is going to boast a 5.7-inch display.
If it was just the same display then it wouldn’t be all that exciting but thankfully it isn’t, and Xioami are rumoured to have sourced a flexible panel from LG allowing for a curved front and matching curved rear design!
Gizchina News of the week
The two curving faces meet up along the edges of the phone on a narrow metal chassis only just wide enough to hold slim physical buttons.
More images of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 show a single rear camera design with dual LED flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack. We assume the front of the phone will retain a fingerprint scanner of some description and that the hardware will feature a Snapdragon 821 with at least 4GB RAM on tap.
Let’s hope it will also have LTE band 20, NFC and 128GB memory (or a dedicated microSD slot if it has less memory).
I know, it is wishful thinking.
Xiaomi doesn’t do band 20.
I know. Hence my wishful thinking remark.
Only the redmi 3 Pro special edition has it.
Always whining around about Band 20, pls note xiaomi phones r not designed for outside china, my god
So enjoy the wind left by Huawei and LeEco that are doing their thing right for foreigner buyers 🙂
There are plenty of China only phones that support band 20.
Fake, and Kjuma cant be trusted.
