Earlier today China’s TENAA revealed another new phone from the joint venture between LeEco and Coolpad.
Already released from the Chinese smartphone duo is the Cool 1, a phone designed by LeEco and Coolpad featuring dual cameras. Those dual cameras though do add a little additional cost to the overall build, and removing one would mean a more affordable device, so this is exactly what they have done.
Even with ‘just’ a single rear camera, the new Cool 1 comes with a very similar all alloy body and features a rear fingerprint scanner.
Gizchina News of the week
According to TENAA this new phone will be codenamed the C107 and will have a 5.5-inch FHD display, 8 core 1.8Ghz processor (it is highly likely that it will use a Snapdragon 652), 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and a large 4000mAh battery.
The current Cool 1 ships at 1099 Yuan in China for the 32GB version, with just a single camera, we might see the C107 could cost as little as 800 Yuan!
I doubt that 800 cny price. Also lets hope for wider range of LTE bands this time, like the other le series
The vast Indian market cries for Cool 1, and LeEco n Coolpad have left phablet market entirely to XIAOMI RMN3, who r selling a million a month. but very strange LeEco getting to sell only small qty of LeMax and LeEco 2 just not moving.
Well, price difference taking its part…if you want to listen to the music with LeEco phone, you need to invest more money in to wireless headphones, batteries for it (or charge one more device every night) and a phone battery last less…. So, no wonder indians are smart enough not to buy it.
