Looks like the dual edge-less design on the freshly released Mi Note 2 isn’t enough for Xiaomi. Indeed the launch of the new flagship was accompanied by the announcement of another smartphone, this one sports a breathtaking three curved edges design and a 91.3% screen-to-body ratio; they call it the Xiaomi Mi Mix. The Mi Mix is part of the bigger 6.44-inch sized lineup just like the Xiami Mi Max. The phone comes with a full ceramic body and minimalist design, developed with the world’s famous designer Philippe Stack.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix doesn’t feature any physical earpiece speaker or proximity sensor, so how are we going to make calls? Well, Xiaomi and their partners found a way to use piezolecetric ceramic acoustic technology, with which a ceramic drive unit converts electrical signals into mechanical energy, thus producing sound.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix also features an ultrasonic proximity sensor behind the 6.4″ 2040×1080 display, to fill the lack of a traditional infrared sensor above the screen.
Xiaomi says the 91.3% screen-to-body ratio innovative design is possible due to the 50% smaller camera module on the front of the device, which is now located at the bottom right corner. The phone’s round-edged display also features a custom 17:9 aspect that they say will be better for content viewing.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at up to 2.35GHz and fueled by a massive 4400mAh capacity battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0.

It’s Xiaomi, and I for one am extremely excited. It’s larger than the Galaxy Note 7 but the screen size is almost an inch larger. If Xiaomi does it right, this phone is going to be on fire.
Samsung’s note 7 was on fire and people didn’t seem to like that at all!

this phone is beautiful as fuck its not exactly like the no bezel concept but this is good enough
wouldnt it be better if you said by next yer this will be cheaper remember a phone of this screen size might be rare next year.. then again if this technology takes on next year more manufacturers will adopt this design seeing that larger phone screens will actually be smaller phones
