If you put into consideration the $99.99 price tag of the battery-centric (it packs a 4200mAh battery) Ulefone Tiger, you sure wouldn’t expect anything good coming out of its camera. Well, looks like Ulefone wants to prove otherwise in their latest video.

The Ulefone Tiger packs a Sony IMX219 8MP front camera (13MP with interpolation) and at least from looking at the video, it appears the results are pretty good. Photos seem to have proper focus and details, vibrant colors, although with a bit of a warmer tone.

The lens itself doesn’t have a wide aperture, so you’re going to get some noise in photos in low-light situations. In all the other cases the camera will perform just fine as shown in the video. Which honestly doesn’t look too bad for a $99.99 phone!
