On November 16th a new Vivo phone will be released in China, one with a familiar design and neat innovation.

Vivo will be launching the worlds first phone with dual front cameras later this month it has been confirmed. The Vivo X9 (and likely X9 Plus) will feature a dual camera module on the front boasting a main 20 mega-pixel sensor and secondary 8 mega-pixel sensor.

Due to the differences in cameras we assume that the main features of the X9’s camera set up will be to add depth to photos, boost low light performance and perhaps add a softening effect to images.

The two models will look visibly identical but sizing will be different with the standard X9 getting a 5.5-inch FHD display and the Plus a large 6 inch panel. Both phones will run a Snapdragon 653 chipset and RAM will range form 4GB to 6GB.
