MGCOOL Band 2

The MGCOOL band 2 is MGCOOL’s first entry in the wearables world. The $19.99 (on presale) fitness band is an activity tracker that should help those people who want to exercise and have a log of what they’ve done.

MGCOOL Band 2

MGCOOL says the Band 2 isn’t just another fitness tracker, it will also track steps, sleep, continuous heart rate and sports (which is what every fitness tracker does too, so it’s kinda confusing).

The Band 2 will send idle alerts to keep you active during the day. All the workout data will be collected and will be accessible on the companion app.

There are also some more smartwatch-like features like text and call notifications, smart auto alarm mode, calendar reminders, Facebook messenger and WhatsApp message notifications… exactly the stuff that was missing on the Hesvit G1 smart band.

The MGCOOL Band 2 is a mix of versatility and functionalities, it can also be used as a shutter for taking photos on your smartphone and also to control the music player.

The band will come with a 80mAh capacity battery which is rechargeable through USB, there’s also some internal storage to keep data on the device when not connected to a smartphone.

I wonder if they have copyrights to use all those images.. They “care” so much about making quality product that they can’t even hire models to model their own products. Instead they are stealing online pics and photoshopping them. haha. What a joke.

It seems a great product, but I believe it could be a little… invasive until you don’t get used

Looks quite like Mi band 2.
But then I came to know it comes with a bigger battery of 80mAh capacity and a larger screen. 🙂

Great! But how can It send notification from phone to directly to the band??
Only through Bluetooth or any other 3rd party app is required??

Looks decent for a smart band, but the question is will you really use it? People who do sports daily might use it more often than others 🙂

can’t deny the band looks nice, but i read about some other band getting really warm and leaving blisters on the wrists, i hope this band doesn’t have the same problem!!

Not bad at all. $19.99 for this is a reasonable price. But what kind of material is used in this?? No where it was mentioned.

Is it skin friendly?? Though this is useful for health conscious people but the materials used in most of wearables are not skin friendly. That’s why I raised the question.

    Standby time: 7 days

So in real life max one with normal usage. This is ever worst than similar alteratives with color display. Crap!
