With hardware getting cheaper by the day, the onus is now on companies that can do decent software, because almost every other company is doing phones with powerful hardware.
Speaking of, Elephone have released the Android 7.0 Nougat beta build for the Elephone P9000. It’s worth noting that since it’s only a public beta, there are some bugs that you can expect, which the company is working on for the stable build.

For now, you can head over to this site and download the build to manually flash it on your P9000 smartphone. The stable version will come as an OTA, so if you don’t want to manually tinker around with your phone or if you don’t wish to use this ‘half baked’ ROM, you can wait for the stable version.
As of now, the fingerprint sensor is known to not work well (or not work at all) with the beta build, among other instabilities. Elephone have also issued a disclaimer for people who aren’t well versed with flashing ROMs manually and such; might just be a good idea to hold off for a while for such people.
so we wont get update via OTA, forget it… l’m not going to flash this ROM, for an update
