Yesterday, a few images of a purported 5.5-inch Mi Mix leaked out on Weibo, showing the device next to a normal Mi Mix. Today, another image of the device leaked out, this time showing the device’s ‘about’ page.
From the picture, we can gather that the new device will be called the Mi Mix Nano, and will have slightly lesser specs compared to the Mi Mix with a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a 5.5-inch display.
Gizchina News of the week
While there isn’t much else to see in the picture, it does confirm the existence of a smaller Mi Mix, something many people have been clamoring recently. It’s also reassuring that the Mi Mix Nano isn’t an undercut version of the device, and is just as powerful as its larger cousin.
What do you make of this news? Are you excited? What would the pricing be like considering the slightly lower specs? Tell us down below.
Yeah with those original expensive price + Extra huge mark up from the china online re-seller ,it is no longer worth to buy Xiaomi premium smartphone anymore in a way.
Ye, B20 would be useless If there was proper 3G coverage everywhere, but for me its B20 or EDGE, so its a no go without it…
of course, it is : B20 is better in urban environment : less distance, stronger signal
Nope. You need more cells in high density population area. Higher coverage of 800 MHz waves means more interference between cells. Again: contradiction in terms.
(poor English, sorry)
800 allows you to actually get a signal… inside your building, I wouldn’t say it’s crap. It’s the opposite. In Paris, this is salvation.
will it be supported by miui tweaks module? yes
Having less ram actually makes it a cut version. Day to day ram amount is more important than peak performance (less reloads, ideally).
