Ok, so what does Elephone have for us today? Well, actually it’s pretty exciting news for once/
If like me, you are getting a little tired with all the constant Elephone S7 news updates then I’ll understand that you might have tried to simply ignore this post, but you’ll be glad you didn’t.
We all know that the Elephone S7 is the up and coming smartphone from Elephone, and we all know that the device will be their first to run a Helio X20 chipset, well not all of them!
Gizchina News of the week
Today it has been announced that due to the overall popularity with the Elphone S7, Elephone have decided to create a special edition Elephone S7 model. The Elephone S7 Special Edition will be launched ‘Soon’ according to our sources, and will get a processor upgrade from the Helio X20 to the Helio X25!
Other details haven’t been announced yet so there might be more hardware updates on the S7 Special Edition too, although we do expect that this updated version will retain the same size body and 5.5-inch display.
It’s not much faster, just more power inefficient & when you look a little better even X20 is pretty power inefficient now imagine all of that with small battery & you will see a big picture.
Compare battery life of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro & Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 now to inlighten you Xiaomi didn’t use QC Mpdecision in any of its newer phones with QC SoC’s nor any other hot plug (basically meaning all cores are active all the time when screan is on) on the other hand they fully implemented Core Pilot with MTK one’s.
l know, how about Kirin chipsets? they are great too
Not really, top Kirin’s (950,955,960) also throttle a lot in the GPU department. The whole industry is ass raping the silicone with frequencies. The Snapdragons 650 & 652 whare a miss regarding this as even the S820 throttles a lot in GPU usage over the longer periods of time.
my weakest point is CPU ????
Mine is a usability so it comes to the battery life/performance & all over lay user experience so I am getting a Xiaomi Mi Max for my self. Also software that I actually can fix & adapt is a big thing for me as I like to play with things like that.
