Gizchina News of the week
The Lenovo K6 Power will go on sale for 9,999 INR or $145 in India.
It will first go on sale on the 6th of December in the country, exclusively via online retailer Flipkart.
The Indian market continues to be a battleground for Chinese phone makers. The price sensitive nature of the market along with the fast-evolving user base lend unique characteristics to the Indian market.
In related news, the OnePlus 3T will be the next major launch in the country.
The thing with xiaomi is that whoever do buy a phone from them and experience the software support and the community behind MIUI, then the support experience with any other brand (maybe except Nexus/Pixel lineup) feels so lackluster, in every way. MIUI is an acquired taste though, but nothing in life is perfect, anyway… 🙂
The first thing I did when I received my Redmi Note 3 Pro was to unlock the bootloader to get rid of MIUI…
As said, it’s an acquired taste..love it or hate it. My favorite launcher is TSF though, I’ve also got Nova (paid – prime).
