The rugged Ulefone Armor has an IP68 waterproof rating as it’s main selling points, but are we supposed to just trust them on that? Well, not anymore, as the guys over at Ulefone decided to give an obvious representation of the phone waterproofness in a Youtube video.

The video is pretty straight forward, there’s a huge fish tank and they drop the Ulefone Armor inside. The phone is left playing videos for half an hour and after the guys managed to get it out, the touch screen, cameras and physical keys are still working properly as if nothing has happened.
The Ulefone Armor also features a dedicated button to take photos under water, a really need addition.

At the end of the video Ulefone warns you to make sure the SIM slot and USB ports are closed tightly before dropping in any fluid. They also say they’ll test it in sea water in future to stress it even more.
The Ulefone Armor is now on presale for $159.99 ($40 less than retail price). Hardware wise, it’s powered by a MediaTek MT6754 octa-core CPU, sports a 4.7-inch UD display, 3gB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other specs include 13MP gamera, NFC, gyroscope and 3500mAh battery
