For starters it has real-time heart rate monitoring and, pedometer and real-time audio coaching capability giving tips using PerformTek precision biometrics technology. Allegedly the sensors should be even more accurate than wearables on the wrist. And patented SDS technology (Speed-Dependent-Sound) can also provide some customized motivational beat depending on your heart-rate and cadence.
The earbuds can always server as a indendent music player with 4 GB onboard memory and thanks to Knowles balanced armature unit and support of Apt-X lossless codec the sound quality will be also top notch. Bluetooth connection and direct support of streaming services like Spotify are also a given and full voice controls too.
