Seems like Meizu are finally getting into the wearables game as their first entry in Meizu Band gets officially launched in China today. It aims to offer quality build and functions comparable to Fitbit bands for a quarter of their price. So what can we expect from this new Meizu ?
Well for starters it comes with seamless design, integrated body with double-component injection and skin-friendly TPU material with reversal buckle belt. It also carries IP67 certification making it splash resistant to fairly high degree. Concealed OLED touch screen can show time, activity data, heart rate and of course the call/messages notification. Magnetic chargig cable is quite handy and the battery life of the smartband is estimated to be about 7 days on a single charge.
Gizchina News of the week

Sleep monitoring and sedentary reminder is also present and smart snooze alarm can help with waking up stress-free. All of the activity logging and monitoring works with the Meizu Health app.
Presales of Meizu Band start immediately today with the product hitting the shelves in China on December 8th with a retail price of 229 yuan (about $33). International marketing is not available, but we are used to that treatment with Meizu products already so resellers will surely step in soon.
