Asus’s Zennovation event is set for CES 2017

Asus’s Zenfone line hasn’t been seeing the best of days recently. The budget Zenfone 3 is doing moderately well, though not nearly as well as its predecessor. Their expensive models aren’t doing much for them either. This is mostly because they’re way too expensive to even consider.

With this, it’ll be interesting to see what Asus has in store for their next Zennovation event. The Zennovation even is basically Asus’s big event for where they announce new devices and such. Last year saw the releases of the Zenfone 3 and its variants, so we’re expecting a Zenfone 4 to appear.

A lot of questions appear when you start talking about the Zenfone 4. Will it have multiple variants like the Zenfone 3? Will they change the name to avoid confusion with the first generation Zenfone 4? Is the device going to have any new features, or are those for future models (Deluxe, Laser, Ultra, ugh)?

The next Zennovation event is scheduled the 4th of January, 2017 at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas. This coincides with day 2 of CES 2017, which means it’s probably going to take place there. What are you hoping to see from the Zennovation event? Tell us in the comments section below.

The only way out for them is to launch a new zen phone 4 and then bring down prices of the Zenphone 3 line.
