China’s Nubia wing of ZTE have announced a couple new phones for the Indian market, in the ZTE Nubia Z11 and the N1.
The ZTE Nubia Z11 has been priced at 29,999 INR ($445) while the Nubia N1 has been given a price tag of 11,999 INR ($178). The Nubia Z11 comes with flagship-grade specifications, such as a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p display, a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6GB RAM, 64GB ROM (expandable), a 16 mega-pixel rear camera, 8 mega-pixel front facing camera, fingerprint scanner, and a 3000mAh battery. As you have probably notices, the spec sheet of this phone resembles that of the OnePlus 3 a fair bit.
Gizchina News of the week
Moving on to the N1, the phone is more on the mid-range side with its spec sheet. It comes with a 5.5-inch FHD display as well, but is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 SoC with 3GB RAM and 13 mega-pixel cameras on the front and rear. It’s powered by a 5000mAh battery of non-removable nature. Like the Z11, the N1 features a fingerprint scanner as well.
Why in his right mind would anybody in India, buy a N1 ,when he can buy a more capable Redmi Note 3 for same price. Also Xiaomi has wider reach of its After sale service in India. Just a larger battery, but weaker SOC in N1.
Logically speaking you are damn right
But again a lot of smartphone released in china with higher price, weaker processor, lower memory, etc So they do have much lower spec but probably with beautiful casing and big splashy advertising and have big name like huawei, vivo, gionee, oppo and somehow they can sell well in china.
Maybe those ignorant people don’t really give a shit about the hardware specs, they only want to show off to other people that they are using premium brands (READ : Expensive brand) like those above.
Very darn weird and yet it happened LOL
Again a mistake of lunching z11 mini 32gb. The right thing would have been to lunch 6gb 128gb z11 and 4gb 128gb z11 minis.N1 looks like a lost device. And at 30 k its no match to op3t
