ZUK have announced their newest — the much awaited ZUK Edge. The phone doesn’t quite throw the Mi Mix out of the water, but it does feature some seriously slim bezels. Let’s have a look at that and the full ZUK Edge specifications.

The ZUK Edge, announced on the 20th of December in China features the following.

• Display: 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p FHD display with 2.5D glass
• Processor: Snapdragon 821
• RAM: 4GB/6GB
• ROM: 32GB/64GB
• Cameras: 12 mega-pixel ISOCELL rear, 8 mega-pixel front
• Battery: 3100mAh
• Other: Fingerprint sensor, U-Touch home button

Besides, the highlight of the phone in the narrow (or lack of) bezels. The ZUK Edge features an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 86.4%!

Pricing and availability

The ZUK Edge has been competitively priced at 2299 yuan or roughly $330 for the 4GB/32GB variant and 2499 yuan or $360 for the 6GB/64GB version. This makes the ZUK Edge one of the more affordable Snapdragon 821 phones out there, cheaper than the OnePlus 3T by ~$30.

The ZUK Edge will make its way into the Chinese market early January 2017. There’s no word yet on whether the phone will be entering other markets, but given that ZUK sell their phones in India (via parent company Lenovo), the Edge could be something that goes on offer in the country.
