MIUI 9 will allow users to delete system apps

miui

Common practise of every Android phone manufacturer is adding many applications. The most of people never use them, because they don’t need them or there is some better alternative. Usually you can’t delete system apps nor hide them. But MIUI 9 will change it!

Gizchina News of the week

According to MIUI Product Manager, Ma Ji, MIUI 9 will allow users to uninstall system apps without any problems connected to it. The biggest benefit is that you can have only those apps you want to use. For example, if you want to use Google Calendar app, you can remove default calendar app completely and have only Google Calendar (or other app).

Another interesting information from Global Tech 2016 event is that more Xiaomi apps will be available for non-MIUI users. Xiaomi will upload them for all android phones. Soon we should receive more details about it.

I believe those decisions can make huge impact on Android devices. I hope that other producers will learn from Xiaomi and allow users to remove their apps from system.

I don’t think it will go that deep. You will be able to delete only simple apps. Uninstal an app is the way they will do it.

    Will RN3 get MiUi 9?

I usually dont use any system app at all. Contacts, dialer, message, music, video, galary, calender etc. None at all. All 3rd Party apps.

So when i change device across brands, its not a change at all.
It will be great to delete all of them. Almost all system apps. Lol.
