MGCOOL has been doing rather well in the sports camera field. The Explorer 1, Cam360, and Explorer Pro all have an overall high performance-to-price ratio. MGCOOL has also been constantly trying to improve their cameras through innovation and adding more and more functionalities on their action cameras. Providing very affordable and practical devices for sports people.
A few days back we have heard of MGCOOL planning to launch a new camera, i.e. the Explorer 2 second generation camera from the Explorer series. The main feature of this upcoming camera will be its new touchscreen display, much like what we already see on the GoPro Hero4 and Yi 4K.
Gizchina News of the week
The MGCOOL Explorer 2 will indeed feature a 2.0-inch multi-touch LCD screen on the back of the camera, which shouldn’t affect it’s waterproof capabilities. The action camera will be able to go to depths of up to 30 meters underwater (with MGCOOL’s special waterproof case).
Overall the new touchscreen implementation should simplify the user experience and make it much convenient to use. But of course we’ll know that only when we get our hands on one.
