Remember the Meizu Box? The Meizu Box was Meizu’s attempt at an Android smart box, and it’s a pretty good attempt all things considered. Running Meizu’s own Flyme TV, the device had fairly decent specs and a very nice design, which made it more desirable than similar products.
The Meizu Box went on sale for a cheap and cheerful 299 Yuan ($43), which was a fine price. Now however, Meizu has gone and increased the price of the device to a slightly higher 399 Yuan ($57). According to Meizu, this is due to the cost of materials used in making the Meizu Box.
