Hot off of the heels of yesterday’s Gionee M2017 launch, a new Gionee device has popped up on TENAA. The new device, seen on TENAA as the Gionee F106, joins the fray as the next decent mid-range device. It’s nothing you haven’t seen before, and that’s not really a good thing.
The device comes with a 4.99-inch HD display, and is powered by an unspecified 1.5GHz quad-core chipset. Along with that, there’s the standard 2GB of RAM and a small 16GB of internal storage, as well as a 2660mAh battery.

The cameras are also rather average and unintriguing, with the rear being an 8MP unit and the front a 5MP unit. The dimensions of the device are 144×70.8×8.4mm, and it weighs in at 150.2g. It’ll apparently run Android Marshmallow out of the box, and comes in gold and silver colored options.
So there it is, yet another unremarkable mid-range device from a much more capable company. What are your thoughts on this device? Do you agree that it’s unremarkable and boring, or do you feel we’re getting too nitpicky with these? Tell us in the comments below.
