A few hours back, we reported how the Mi 6 from Xiaomi looked set for a launch early next year. Things change fast in China, and they seem to have done it again — word now is that the phone will come a bit later than expected.
Xiaomi Mi 6 launch date pushed back a couple of months?
According to sources in China, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is now expected to launch in April. This comes from a reaction from a leak via Weibo.
Gizchina News of the week
The Xiaomi Mi 5 didn’t really cause the ripples it was expected to, despite having a rather tight spec set. It had a few weak links, including a build quality that wasn’t up to par (as it turned out). Xiaomi have tried to improve on that with the Mi 5s (and other phones they launched this year).
The Mi 6 is expected to be a bit of a design departure from the usual Mi. We’ll come to know in due time, and given that this newest bit of news is true, it’ll be a few months.
Mi5 WAS good, but it just couldn’t live up 2 years worth of hype waiting for it… Now, what I hope for the mi6 is that they take everything makes the redmi and redmi note series a good choice and add it to the flagship… It’s rather stupid to see the mid-ranger to be a better choice than the flagship because they have good batteries and microsd card support while the flagship only have a better soc (which nowadays isn’t that huge of a deal anymore) and many drawbacks
I tried so many Xiaomi phones and I have to says that only Mi3 and Mi 4C are a good choice for Mi series…
But as for Redmi Note… Almost all Redmi Note I tried were amazing! Especially the battery haha
Redmi note (Only the model with Qualcomm soc) are always the most amazing series of Xiaomi smartphone because it is so darn cheap and jam packed with all the goodies from the flagship hardwares.
I have the MTK version Redmi 2 and 3 and both of them are amazing “except a weird bluetooth issue and I think it has to do with the chip itself”
Yes it is an amazing phone. The only issue I have is the bluetooth, but other than that I am sure if I want to use it I will be happy.
