If you are a fan of the big screen phones then you surely noticed the Bluboo attempt in this department, the Bluboo Maya Max. And because right now there is a running New Year’s promo where you can get this phone for just $129.99 until December 31st it’s maybe good to take another look at its specifications.
Bluboo Maya Max is equipped with the new MT6750 chipset that merges the benefits of the previous MT6753 and MT6755 including the 4G Cat.6 support, paired with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and GPU Mali-T860 for smoother multitasking performance. With 4200 mAh battery it can last for a long time and fast charging ensures less downtime. Used 6-inch JDI display with a dual layered OGS one with HD resolution and support for wet hand or gloved control.
Cameras are more or less average, rear cam is a 13 Mpix shooter with Sony IMX214 sensor and front selfie one just 8 Mpix, but sporting the Beautysnap app with many extra features including the “smart” self-shutter. Rest of the specs include VoLTE, NXP speaker, fingerprint scanner with unlock speed up to 0.1s, USB Type-C, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and CNC machined metal body using 6000 series aluminum.

Is it a good phone? From the specs it looks very good. I don’t know about MTK CPU’s other than Xseries and P series… But other specs look very good.
CPU isnt bad, software is. Read the thread about it on xda-developers. It probably has all the bugs that can exists on android 😀
The mtk soc is alright. But I know nothing of the software in the phone and the camera is probably weak. Not sure if it has gorilla glass. But 120 bucks its probably alright. But for 30 bucks more you can get a xiaomi max or le max 2
Well I already have Mi Max and Mi Note 2 for myself..
I want to sell it and I am a recently-graduated student without a job still lol
So I can not afford 5PCs of expensive Max etc…
The cheaper the better, but I want something that is perfect for the price.
