Yi Erida drone, Yi 4K+ camera to be shown off at CES 2017

It’s been a while since the Yi Erida was first announced, but the tricopter looks close to a commercial launch now than ever before.

The tricopter will be demoed at the upcoming CES 2017 expo, and alongside that, Yi Technology will exhibit the Yi 4K+ camera, a slightly improved version of the immensely popular Yi 4K.

Coming back to the drone, it’s been around for a fair bit now, but a commercial launch has always been a bit evasive for the drone. Let’s wait and watch if CES 2017 adds anything to the mix. It’s supposed to be the ‘world’s fastest tricopter’ with a top speed of almost 75 mph or 120kmph, which is some serious speed. More so, considering it’s also an aerial filming platform that features a Yi 4K camera and a gimbal.

The Yi 4K+, on the other hand, is expected to being 60fp 4K video alongside some other improvements.
