LeEco might not be having the best time finances wise, but the company is surely doing the smartphone thing right. They’re now working on the LeEco LEX659, i.e., the Le 2S Dual with dual rear cameras.
According to a listing found online, the LeEco Le 2S Dual will come with a pair of 13 mega-pixel cameras on the rear to put it at par with other dual rear camera phones on the market. On the front, it’ll have a rather hefty (resolution wise) 12 mega-pixel sensor. Besides, it’ll be powered by the MediaTek Helio X25 SoC.
Gizchina News of the week
It gets more interesting when we get to the price point — the phone’s expected to cost 1000 yuan, or $145. This will make the LeEco Le 2S Dual one of the most affordable dual rear camera phones on the market.
The phone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with a 1080p resolution. There’s no news on an official launch date, but you can expect to see the phone in the coming weeks.
I just hope it will have some kinda protection (Gorilla glass?) for the display.
LeEco keeping the trend of good but affordable.
Hope it will not go down due to its financial mess.
Why putting a dual camera set up in a device that most likely will take bad pictures…
no SD no head phone jack.. and wierd looking camera set up that looks like a pokemon face.. lol.. that is most likely to shoot just like the cool 1 dual not so amazing for a dual camera shots,.. but if there’s a 64GB model, even @ higher price, any reasonable person will overlook all these
