LeEco had some financial problems but this doesn’t stop them from global expansion. Today company revealed two bikes that use Android-based OS. They will be launched in the US in Q2 2017.
Both the LeEco Smart Road Bike and the LeEco Smart Mountain Bike will have 4-inch touchscreen device. It will run BikeOS which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device will be have Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 6,000 mAh Li-Ion and will offer using HERE Maps navigation. What is more, it will allow online and offline music playing, walkie-talkie communication with other LeEco bike nearby and collecting ride logs. The bike owner will be also able to check previous rides and share them with other people.

Both bikes will feature modules supporting GPS and GLONASS. Producer also gives us compass, accelerometer and barometer. Biker will be also able to measure the light level, wheel speed and crank speed. What is more there will be available third-party ANT+ heart rate monitor for people who want to track they activity.
Unfortunately we don’t know the price of bikes. Producer declined to reveal how much it would cost, but we expect it won’t be the cheapest bike you can buy. We believe more information about price and detailed specification will be revealed soon.
