ASUS have made another big announcement at CES, the dual camera Asus Zenfone Zoom 3 which looks a lot like the iPhone 7 Plus.
ASUS have focused on camera performance once again with their newest CES launch. The ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom is the latest smartphone to come with a dual camera rear design.
The rear cameras are both 12 mega-pixel sensor one with a 25mm wide-angle lens and the other with 56mm lens offering a 2.3x optical zoom. The set up is very similar to the iPhone 7 Plus but ASUS have upped the game with a slightly better F1.7 aperture.
To further enhance camera performance, ASUS have added Dual Phase Detection Auto Focus, and each sensor is a Sony IMX362 with 1.4-micron pixels for boosted low-light performance.
Gizchina News of the week
In this day and age having just a good camera isn’t enough, so it’s good to see ASUS have decided to ship the phone with a large 5000mAh battery which offers a claimed 40 days of standby time.
The handset also boasts a 5.5-inch FHD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, shock absorbing alloy body, and Snapdragon 625 chipset.
ASUS says that the phone will ship with Android 6.0 but an Android 7.0 update is on the way and with it will unlock more features.
Hope all them good paper specs translates well in real life usage….This has to be good else.
625 always gets me excited people don’t get how amazing it’s energy efficiency is I almost lost it when I saw the 5000mah attached to it, the regular Zenfone 3 had a sweet camera it looks like finally asus’ camera game has solidified
Yup, same here: sd625 is like my favourite soc of the year, with that battery is a really nice combo… And the camera should delivers too this time around (unlike previous zoom)…
