On January 7th, Yi technology launched the world’s first true 4K 60fps action camera, i.e. the Yi 4K+. The new camera has also added voice support, to perform actions like shut down and more, becoming the third action camera on the market supporting voice controls.
The first action camera to actually support voice commands is the GoPro Hero 5, meanwhile the second one from a less known Chinese manufacturer and it’s called MGCOOL Explorer 2.
Perhaps not everybody here has ever heard about this brand before, but MGCOOL is in the action camera business from about 3 years, although under another moniker. The cameras released so far are the Explorer, Explorer Pro, Explorer Elite and Cam 360, which all have a good success outside of China.
