ZTE’s Blade V8 is certainly a looker, and a phone that a lot of to-be buyers are (im)patiently waiting for.
According to reports, the device — first showcased at CES 2017 — is due for a launch in China in March this year. Along with that, the ZTE V8 will launch in Germany, and Spain in the same month. However, buyers in Japan and Russia are expected to get their hands on the phone a bit sooner, as the phone is expected to launch in these markets in February.
Gizchina News of the week
If you don’t remember the specifications, the Blade V8 comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 435 SoC, a 13 front camera, a 13 + 2 mega-pixel dual rear camera setup, and a 2730mAh battery. The phone comes in two spec sets, differing in RAM and ROM (2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB).
By all means, the V8 isn’t high-end. However, if the Huawei P9 was anything to go by, kickass dual camera phones do not come with high-end specs.
Wasnt the Huawei P9 using a Huawei processor though, surely its faster than a Snapdragon 430?
