Most of the phone makers are trying to constantly improved and upgrade their current models with higher specs, dual cameras and state of the art new chipsets. But Oukitel is going against the flow and planning to release a downgraded ultra budget version of the U7 Plus model.
The Max name should theoretically indicate some packed at least midrange model, but it’s actually quite the opposite and the company clearly states the phone will be extra cheap and focusing mainly on design instead of the sheer horsepower.
So what can we expect from Oukitel U7 Max ?
Gizchina News of the week
Well to be fair nothing groundbreaking, 5,5-inch display with HD resolution and 2.5D glass, quad-core MT6580A processor so wave goodbye to 4G, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of expandable storage, 13 Mpix rear camera and 5 Mpix front camera. Pure budget on a stick.
In comparison with the U7 Plus the new model loses the fingeprint scanner and the back battery cover adopts the polycarbonate build. Ultra low price will probably try to offset these disadvantages and Oukitel promised us just that. U7 Max should hit the market in the beginning of February.
