Ulefone U008 mimics 3D touch without hardware

Ulefone is adding software tweaks to mimic the functions of 3D touch.

3D touch is one of those features that hasn’t really taken off, but one feature, the ability to hold down on an app to see options right from the homescreen, is really very useful.

Ulefone have looked at this feature and decided to recreate it, well sort of. The UI on the new $59.99 Ulefone U008 offers users the option of using a double layer screen to let the user swipe across app icons to open up simple options.

It’s a cool little feature that we would expect to see in the UI of a more expensive phone, not one costing much less than $100!
