As expected, Xiaomi today announced the Redmi Note 4 in India at their New Delhi event. The Redmi Note 4 is Xiaomi’s first India launch in 2017.
With the MediaTek issue going on in India, Xiaomi had no choice but to make the Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon-powered. Which is why, they’ve gone with the Snapdragon 625. Let’s have a look at the full specifications of the Redmi Note 4 for India.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Price in India
The Snapdragon 625-powered Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is priced fairly aggressively. According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 4 will be available for:
- 9,999 INR ($146; 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM)
- 10,999 INR ($161; 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM)
- 12,999 INR ($190; 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM)
However you look at it, it does look like super-aggressive pricing. As far as availability is concerned, the Redmi Note 4 will be available via Flipkart and Mi.com starting 23rd January.
Not with the charger you get in the box (regular 2A), SoC support QC fast changing 3.0.
In fact it doesnt, I tried before with QC 3.0 with the latest beta ROM (on build MMB29M)
Is it even possible to enable Quick Charging via a software update unless the feature was built into the phone?
Yes and no, if you flash your kernel with an unofficial one like Radon for instance you could improve the phone charging to get 5V/2,4A
