Rugged devices are usually not really using the most powerful hardware that is and AGM with their highend ones are a breath of fresh air in this matter. But their next phone model AGM A8 is not going to be a highend one, but instead a budget phone still packed with solid hardware. And quite interestingly most of their devices are sporting Qualcomm chips instead of the more common and cheaper Mediatek ones.
The AGM A8 will be of course coming with the usual rugged mantra so the IP68 certification making the phone fully waterproof and dustproof. And the inner hardware will consist of Snapdragon 410 as the processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, 13 Mpix + 2 Mpix cameras, 4050 mAh battery and Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. Oh and 5-inch display with the HD resolution.
Gizchina News of the week
As for the actual release and availability the phone should be out after the Chinese Spring Festival for so far undisclosed price. To learn more about you can either watch the video above, visit the official website or their facebook pages.
SD410 is a very slow chip, even the MT6737T runs rings around it.
Why did you say that?? I think the snapdragon 410 is very good, and if it is optimized for nougat it is should be also better
Its a rugged… its not meant to be for hipsters unless they WORK xD: seriously tho: Its a great option for te PPR alone but the specs are crazy for its price :O!!
