Xiaomi’s Mi5C phone has cropped up from time to time but new certifications suggest the handset might be close to launch.
The Xiaomi Mi5C has appeared one more time in 5 different variants in a recent China Quality Certification. The leaks don’t directly refer to the name Mi5C but model numbers MAE136 is the model number that also goes by the codename “Meri”, and that’s the name we saw in leaks late last year.

The certification only confirms that the Xiaomi Mi5C will come with a 5V/2A charger, but previous leaks have gone someway to fill in the blanks.
Specs for the Xiaomi Mi5C include a Snapdragon 625 chipset, 5.5-inch display, 3GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, 8 mega-pixel front camera and 12 mega-pixel rear. The handset also features a 2.5D curved panel and narrow bezel design/
Sources in China are saying that the Xiaomi Mi5C is likely to launch in February.
