Elephone claim to bring Hi-Fi quality audio on their upcoming Elephone P25. But what does that actually mean? Let’s figure it out!
High fidelity—or hi-fi or hifi—reproduction is a term used by home stereo listeners, audiophiles and home audio enthusiasts to refer to high-quality reproduction of sound to distinguish it from the lower quality sound produced by inexpensive audio equipment – Wikipedia.
This quality can also be brought to smartphone with some special expedients, such as the presence of a dedicated audio DAC or better componentry in general. This would allow your phone to produce high-quality audio and experience the music the way it was meant to be heard from the artists.

In addition to that, an “Hi-Fi phone” will also produce clearer sound and let your hear details that were not possible to hear before. And that’s what Hi-Fi means in a nutshell.
Now, since Elephone is saying the Elephone P25 will be featuring this level of sound quality, we could assume they have found a way to reach it somehow, whether it’s through a DAC or something else, we are yet to find out. As of now, we aren’t aware of all the details.
