The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus pops up on Geekbench

Lenovo’s track record with tablets has been good, if not great. Delivering multiple different models for pretty much every price point, it’s not tough to see why they’re successful. Now they’ve got a new tablet in the works, and it’s just made an appearance on Geekbench.

The Geekbench for the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus doesn’t reveal much aside from some of the device’s specs. The tablet will run on the Snapdragon 625 SoC, along with 3GB of RAM. All this will be powering Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which isn’t optimal.

This is in-line with previous leaks, which also claimed the device would feature a 1920x1080p full HD display, an 8MP and 5MP camera combo, and 32GB and 64GB storage options. While the Snapdragon 625 SoC is disappointing, the other specs seem fairly solid.

Well there isn’t exactly much competition in the Chinese android tablet market. Unfortunately it’s all moved over to Windows and Intel atoms so this has little competition regardless of spec, which incidentally is OK for a tablet depending on how they price this thing of course.
